Georgina is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and practicing Certified Compliance Professional with over twenty-two (22) years hands on experience as In-House Legal Counsel and In-House Regulatory Compliance Advisor and six (06) years as In-House Company Secretary respectively. Georgina has worked in multinational companies (Telecommunications – 3G ; 4G Networks) and state-owned enterprises Electricity and Forestry).

Georgina’s expertise lies in Corporate Law, Energy Law, Construction Law, Communications Law, and Employment Law. Georgina is proficient in negotiation and drafting of high value procurements and critical business contracts in the Energy, Construction and Telecommunications sectors.

Georgina also specializes in handling project financing matters; product development; product liability claims; business re-organization and restructuring; employee-employer relations; public  private partnerships; compliance audits ; mergers and acquisitions; business process reviews; asset acquisition and disposals; early neutral evaluation of commercial claims; litigation and amicable dispute resolution matters.

As Company Secretary, Georgina has also attained skills in handling board performance evaluations; delivery of Board development programmes; preparation of board succession plans, corporate strategies, and maintaining statutory registers. As a Compliance Professional, Georgina designs, delivers and implements compliance risk
management frameworks.

Georgina provides executive coaching for young graduates in legal, governance, risk, and compliance areas of practice. Georgina is a member of Uganda Law Society, East African Law Society, Institute of Corporate Governance Uganda, International Academy of Business and Financial Management.
